What is Phonics First™ ?

RLAC’s nationally accredited Phonics First ™ is a dynamic and interactive professional development course that gives teachers the depth of knowledge and expertise to teach reading to beginning and struggling readers grades K-12 (regular education, special education and ELL). Based on Orton-Gillingham methodology, it is immediately applicable to a variety of learners in both classroom and small-group learning environments..

Phonics First ™ course participants learn the lesson elements necessary for delivering quality, multisensory, code-emphasis reading lessons for critical decoding and encoding skill development.



The International Multisensory Structured Language Education Concil

Accreditation through the International Multisensory Language Education Council ensures that teachers are receiving an approved curriculum that meets the needs of learners at all levels.
